Keeping a record
ReTalk backs up KakaoTalk conversations in real time and helps you revisit records remaining on your PC. Chats, photos, and media belong in the same archive.
Backing up new conversations and recovering existing records are different tasks. Recovery depends on the data still present on your PC; it does not mean every conversation that has disappeared can be retrieved.
Local records and external connections
Chats and photos are not sent to ReTalk servers. Conversation content, room names, other participants’ profiles, media, and local paths are handled on your PC.
Accounts, payments, licenses, update checks, and pseudonymous aggregate statistics are processed by the service. An optional AI connection may pass queried data from rooms you allow to the connected AI.
